Profibus International has certified AuCom's Profibus Interface as compliant with the Profibus standard and suitable for use as a slave device on Profibus networks. The interface is compatible with CSX, CSXi and MVS soft starters, and provides a fast and simple solution to integrating soft starters into an existing control network. In addition to monitoring and control, the Profibus Interface supports remote programming of MVS Series starters, making it a versatile and user-friendly solution for soft starter management.

The Honourable Jim Sutton, Minister of State and Associate Minister for Trade Negotiations, visited Shanghai to officially open the AuCom Shanghai Representative Office on 6 March 2006. Mr Sutton met AuCom's Chief Representative, Andrew Lim, as well as James Hsieh, Managing Director of Sanch Organization. Sanch is AuCom's lead distributor in northern and eastern China. Mr Sutton congratulated AuCom on the new office, and welcomed the opportunity for a New Zealand company to export technology products to such an important market.
