AuCom Appoints New Director |

AuCom is pleased to announce the appointment of Gottfried Pausch as an AuCom director.
Mr Pausch holds a degree in electrical engineering from Austria and an MBA from Duke University in North Carolina, USA. He started his career with Siemens AG, Germany in 1986 as a project engineer for power distribution and automation systems. He has since gained international experience across a number of sectors including; Industry, Energy and ICT, managing multi-million dollar projects and businesses in various executive management roles in Europe, Asia, North America and Australasia. In 2003, he relocated to New Zealand to become CEO of Siemens Energy Services and was later promoted to Managing Director of the Siemens New Zealand operation, leading a staff of over 500. AuCom's CEO, Brent Archer says "Gottfried's global experience will give us valuable insights and help us further the worldwide expansion of our business. He understands the needs of engineering clients, and how AuCom needs to build on their already strong reputation to better meet their needs." An Electrical Engineer with a MBA in Global Management, Mr Pausch possesses a clear customer focus and adds specialist technical skills and a wealth of knowledge to AuCom. Mr Pausch says he is "...excited about the challenges AuCom will bring as a kiwi company competing with large engineering multi-nationals. AuCom is a growing company with a reputation for innovative, quality low and medium voltage switchgear. I look forward to working with the AuCom team for a successful 2011 and beyond." Mr Pausch will join Chairman of the Board, David Irving, founder Ray Archer and CEO Brent Archer in setting direction and maintaining governance and developing strategy. |
