“While the features, innovations, reliability, pricing and delivery times of AuCom products are the key factors to RHONA building successful customer relationships, it is AuCom’s focus on providing the right level of support to RHONA that makes the difference,” - Pablo Neuweiler, Manager of the Commercial Division at RHONA.

RHONA´s strategy is built around a single phrase (in Spanish) “Un mundo en equipamiento eléctrico”, which means “A world in electrical equipment”.
They have established their market through providing the best products in the world. They provide the Chilean industrial segments with the solutions they need, and support those products with outstanding pre-sales and post-sales services.
RHONA boasts a product line of about 10,000 items from more than 30 different suppliers. They provide items such as plugs and sockets through to sophisticated solutions like complex PLC automation systems, big drives solutions, electrical panels, and e-houses.
As the largest independent soft starter manufacturer in the world, AuCom have helped RHONA extend their capability in motor control.
A reputation to uphold
RHONA is a trusted brand in Chile. Their products and services are received with high levels of customer satisfaction.
In order to keep their customers delighted with their dealings, RHONA meticulously build trust and deliver exceptional quality from pre-sales interaction through to post-sales service.
“They are truly independent and capable,” says Shirish Paranjape, Senior Channel Sales Manager of AuCom. “They invest in everything that is needed to satisfy their customers.”
With an excellent reputation to uphold, RHONA don’t just partner with anyone. Creating and maintaining customer confidence is critical for the RHONA business strategy. In order to achieve this, they need suppliers they can rely on. They need established, consistent companies with outstanding products to be their suppliers. This has been the basis of their relationship with AuCom.

Reliable partnership stands the test of time
RHONA have been a partner of AuCom for over 20 years, reselling AuCom’s low voltage (LV) soft starter range to their Chilean clientele. They are AuCom’s biggest (and oldest) partner in Latin America. For RHONA, AuCom is a fundamental partner for product supply and support.
Confidence and long term relationships are what RHONA’s success has been built on. AuCom helps to ensure that these relationships and confidence are protected and enhanced with their soft starter product range, together with their technical and business support. “We help RHONA by supplying a good product at a competitive price,” says Shirish.
“While the features, innovations, reliability, pricing and delivery times of AuCom products are the key factors to RHONA building successful customer relationships, it is AuCom’s focus on providing the right level of support to RHONA that makes the difference,” says Pablo Neuweiler, Manager of the Commercial Division at RHONA.
A good partnership goes two ways
The relationship between AuCom and RHONA extends beyond the business of reselling. “Our partnership goes two ways,” says Shirish.
RHONA co-hosted a conference with AuCom to launch the new generation EMX4 soft starters, welcoming other AuCom partners in Central and South America to Chile with warm hospitality and helpful assistance.
Because of RHONA and AuCom’s special relationship, AuCom initially made their new EMX4 product available to only RHONA and four other resellers in the world. This helped to give RHONA a competitive edge by being able to supply their customers with advanced technology exclusively available from RHONA in Chile.
RHONA are also interested in expanding their product offering with AuCom to include medium voltage (MV) soft starters in anticipation of the mining market improving.
As RHONA continue to expand as a company, AuCom will continue to exceed their expectations by supplying quality soft starter products and support services.
“We have never had any problems with AuCom and it has been a great pleasure to work together,” says Pablo.
