Benshaw EMX4i Series Protected Chassis Soft Starters Set a New Standard for Soft Start motor control technology
Benshaw is pleased to announce the addition of five new soft starters to our EMX4i Series product line. The new models share one compact frame size and extend standard duty ratings in the EMX4i Series to 900HP at 480V (heavy duty ratings up to 700HP at 480V).
All EMX4i Series soft starters include built-in bypass, an intuitive graphical display and an array of ‘smart’ control and protection features. On screen QR codes allow EMX4i soft starters to connect with — and send troubleshooting data to — modern smart phones using Benshaw’s free “Start Here” mobile app. A USB port enables direct upload, download and storage of soft starter performance information.
Optional communications cards and industry-specific smart cards can transform your EMX4i soft starter into a complete system controller. Benshaw also offers non-bypassed models for use in continuous duty applications or the addition of an external, fully-rated contactor for ATL backup.
The ‘extended range’ completes Benshaw’s EMX4i product line – with models ranging from 5HP-900HP, 240-480V (600/690V models available upon request).
