Demonstrating its continued commitment to innovation, customer service and regional development, AuCom has commenced construction of a new Customer Innovation Center at its Sendenhorst location.

The new multi-million-euro, multi-story facility features an energy-efficient design and will bring together customer service, administration and modern meeting and innovation spaces. This development follows the recent expansion of AuCom’s production capacity in Sendenhorst and reflects the company’s long-term strategy to strengthen its operational capabilities while investing in its people, customers and the local community.

“With the new customer center, we are not only creating additional capacity, but also consciously investing in the future viability and attractiveness of our company location,” explains Thomas Zirk-Gunnemann, CEO of AuCom Applied Motor Controls. “Sendenhorst is not only our company headquarters, it’s my home. This strong connection to the region has always been, and remains, a key part of our identity.”

The new facility supports AuCom’s focus on advanced motor control technologies and sustainable growth across global markets. It will also enable the company to pursue emerging opportunities in hyperdatacenter technologies and other next-generation applications, further enhancing its innovation capabilities and market leadership.

This expansion reflects AuCom’s rapid growth, now employing around 200 people in Sendenhorst, including global teams managed from the site. Serving as the company’s central hub for operations across EMEA and Asia, Sendenhorst continues to play a key role in supporting AuCom’s international reach.

As AuCom continues to expand its global presence, the new Customer Innovation Center stands as a symbol of the company’s commitment to excellence, sustainability and the future of intelligent motor control.
