Automation Feeder System Engineer

We're looking for talented individuals to join our Product Division team in Christchurch, New Zealand, to help drive innovation in motor control solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, selection, installation and operation of automated feeder systems for automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Fault finding and repairing production equipment and fixtures, jigs and automated equipment.
  • Define preventative maintenance of feeder systems
  • Training of operators in the safe use and maintenance of automated equipment
  • Preparation of documentation to support the safe operation of manufacturing equipment
  • Identification and elimination of non-value add processes/equipment using lean tools

What we're looking for

  • A tertiary or trade qualification in engineering
  • More than 5 years experience in automated feeder system engineering
  • Understanding of manufacturing, operations and R&D

This role is based in our Christchurch site in Addington. You must have the permanent right to live and work in New Zealand.  

Please note:

This is a permanent, full time role with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Due to our strong commitment to workplace health & safety, prospective candidates will be required to pass a drug and alcohol test before a formal offer is made.
