We are pleased to announce that AuCom is merging with US based soft start company Benshaw Inc. This merger of two market leading technology experts makes the AuCom/Benshaw operation the world’s largest privately held soft start company. Combining AuCom and Benshaw technologies, as well as each organisation’s already impressive sales and service capabilities, allows us to set the stage for a global business ready for accelerated growth and new product development.
This new venture takes effect from 17th December 2019. AuCom and Benshaw will continue to operate under their own brand names as part of the Unico Technologies Group. This exciting development will see AuCom’s operations in IEC markets outside North America continue unchanged, while AuCom North America will merge with Benshaw USA under the Benshaw brand to support NEMA markets.

Founded in 1983 and based in Pittsburgh, USA, Benshaw is a motor control panels company specialising in solid state reduced voltage electric motor controls and motor protection.
Who is Unico Technologies Group?
The Unico Technologies Group was founded by Sun Capital when it acquired Benshaw and Unico Drives from Regal Beloit Corporation in 2019.
